In short, I need $6,800 more to go to school this semester. I worked full time and attended community college full time while my wife finished her degree. She graduated this last May and is now in a fellowship program, and the salary she earns there barely pays the bills. I quit my job to move across the country for my wife's fellowship and so I could go to Rutgers University full time. There are no other federal aid programs for undergrad independant students like there are for grad and dependant students. In addition my credit is shot because while I worked to put my wife through school our house was foreclosed on and her car was repossessed. I'm am 31, a father of 2, have worked dead end job after dead end job to pay the bills for 13 years now and need to go to school to get a degree and start a career. At this point the only thing I can see to do is drop my classes for this semester, get another dead end job and re-apply in January. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
